Venice, considered one of the most beautiful city of the world and UNESCO Italian site, is located inside the Venetian Lagoon 4 kilometers far from the mainland. City of a great artistic and historic value, it has stunning architectures to be discovered.

  • The Basilica di San Marco: example of material and spiritual Byzantine patrimony, besides representing the ancient maritime and commercial power of the city, experienced a lot of transformations over the centuries and it acquired treasures, mosaics and sculptures.
  • Palazzo Ducale: masterpiece of the Gothic art with oriental influences and headoffice of the Doge, it hosts the Museo Civico di Palazzo Ducale.
  • Campanile di San Marco: a famous symbol of the city and one of the tallest bell tower in Italy, with its 98 meters. During the Venetian Carnival, the "volo dell'angelo" takes place: a person plays an angel and hovers in the air from the top of the tower to the ground.
  • One of the main attractions of the city are its channels in which the magnificient "gondole" sail. Among them there is the famous Canal Grande, the biggest Venetian channel. There are also a lot of spectacular bridges which connect the channels: the Ponte di Rialto, the Ponte dei Sospiri, the Ponte dell'Accademia and more.
